Volunteers Needed: Native Pollinator Garden

We’re excited to share a new initiative to establish a native pollinator garden at the Oyster campus.

Phase 1 of the project focuses on improving two front areas of the school that are in need of care (hillside erosion and a rugged flat area). We have already begun work and made great progress removing invasive plants and turf.

We are looking for volunteers to support site preparation, planting, and mulching.

Upcoming volunteer dates:

  • Sunday, April 5, 2:00 to 4:00 pm
  • Wednesday, April 8, 3:30 to 5:30 pm
  • Saturday, April 11, 2:00 to 4:00 pm
  • Sunday, April 12, 2:00 to 4:00 pm

We will provide tools and gloves, but feel free to bring your own if you prefer.

This is a great opportunity to support the school, contribute to a native planting project, and connect with fellow volunteers.
