- Sweta Sweta
Teachers are part of the LSAT as well. They will have their own elections soon.
As a reminder, the Local School Advisory Team (LSAT) is an elected committee of parents and teachers that advises the principal and administration on school-wide academic and governance issues, including the comprehensive school plan and the proposed school budget.
There are eight parent positions and four teacher positions on the Oyster-Adams LSAT, with an equal balance between Spanish and English speakers and representation from each campus. Elected parents and teachers serve a two-year term.
LSAT meets every month for about 1.5-2 hours in person at Adams or Oyster campuses. All meetings, except those related to the budget, are open to the community. They will be on the OA calendar. I would like to invite you attend whenever you are able.
Sincerely, Sweta Shah (LSAT Chair)
