Festival de Poesia (Poetry Festival)

We are delighted to announce our Annual Poetry Festival, which will take place on May 22. This special event will showcase the creativity, imagination, and talent of our tigers.

Over the next few weeks, students will be exploring poetry in their Spanish classes. Through rhythm, rhyme, and creative expression, they will strengthen their language skills, expand their imagination, and create their own poems.

This festival is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the power of words, share student creations, and enjoy the beauty of poetic expression. We warmly invite you to join us for this special occasion and celebrate our students’ hard work and creativity.

The Festival de Poesia schedule will be as follows:

  • 9:00–10:30 a.m.: Pre-K through 1st Grade
  • 1:30–3:00 p.m.: 2nd through 3rd Grade

Students in Pre-K through 1st grade will present whole-class poems as a group. Students in 2nd and 3rd grade will present individual or small-group poems selected in advance according to the rubric established by their teachers. In addition, 2nd grade classes will recite short poems together as a class.
