Mornings
Marie Reed to Meyer:
- First bus departs at 8:10 a.m., or when full
- Second bus departs no later than 8:20 a.m.
Oyster to Meyer:
- First bus departs at 8:10 a.m., or when full
- Second bus departs at 8:20 a.m.
- Third bus departs no later than 8:20 a.m.
Afternoons
Meyer to Marie Reed:
- First bus departs at 3:40 p.m.
- Second bus departs at 3:40 p.m.
- After-school program bus departs at 5:40 p.m.
Meyer to Oyster:
- First bus departs at 3:40 p.m.
- Second bus departs at 3:40 p.m.
- After-school program bus departs at 5:40 p.m.
Buses for Athletic Practices
- Unfortunately, the school was not able to provide transportation to all students during tryouts
- Current buses leaving Adams at 5:40 p.m. are at full capacity.
- Coaches coordinated with families for pick up.
- Once the teams are formed, coaches will share with the school the names of the students who will ride the bus, and the location for the drop off (Oyster or Marie Reed).
- Based on the number of students, the school administration will request and meet with the DCPS Operations team to request additional buses or to coordinate a schedule for earlier buses to loop.
- We are asking families to give coaches, the school and DCPS a reasonable time to coordinate the buses to accommodate families. Coaches will let you know as soon as buses are available.
Crossing Guard
The school administration has requested To DDOT an additional crossing guard for Adams. The assigned crossing guard is currently at Marie Reed to ensure the safety of our tigers in the morning and in the afternoon when they ride the buses.
