Message From The Principal

Be bilingual, embrace diversity, and achieve excellence

Dear Oyster-Adams Families,

Happy Hispanic Heritage Month celebration! In our first week of events, we have embraced our cultural wealth by celebrating our countries and cultures. Today, we kicked off with a dance assembly at Adams. Salsa with Silvia taught merengue, salsa, and bachata steps to all the students and teachers. The party resonated throughout the building! Here I share some images of the joy.

A hug and gratitude to everyone who came to the OCC meeting last night. Thanks to your work and donations, we were able to celebrate our event at Adams today, and we will be able to provide the concerts at both campuses.

Don't forget to wear your national colors, soccer jerseys, traditional outfits, or any other symbol of belonging to our Latin communities. Whether or not you are from these countries, I invite you to celebrate the diversity of our cultures.
