Ms. Claudia Palacios began teaching at Oyster-Adams in 2017 and teaches Art at the Adams campus. She is from Ciudad Juárez, México. She graduated from the Universidad Autónoma de Ciudad Juarez with a BA in Graphic Design. Her experience includes teaching art and graphic design classes at a university in Mexico, teaching immersion classes at the highly achieving Highland Park Independent School District as a contractor, conducting Pre-K classes at the well-respected private school Spanish House in Dallas, as well as working as a bilingual aide helping students with limited English proficiency at the Dallas Independent School District and District of Columbia Public School. Ms. Palacios’ favorite quote is from Frank Smith which she agrees that “One language sets you in a corridor for life. Two languages open every door along the way”.
