Ms. Melissa Shaw

Ms. Melissa Shaw has been the social worker at Oyster-Adams since 2008. After a few years of working across both campuses, she now works full time at the intermediate campus with 4th – 8th grade students. She is a graduate of the College of Wooster, Ohio, and has a master’s degree in social work from the University of Maryland at Baltimore. The one thing she likes most about the community of Oyster-Adams is that they are a vibrant, eclectic group of people. When Ms. Shaw isn’t serving as a counselor at Adams, she enjoys hanging out with her kids, laughing, and walking.
