Seeking volunteers! LOVE Oyster-Adams and want to work with staff and families make it even better? We do too!! Maybe you’re bored and have plenty of extra time on your hands? That’s not us either!! But we still need your help!
Who are we? The Oyster-Adams Community Council (OCC) is a group of elected volunteer parents partnered with school staff and teachers working together on behalf of the school community. The OCC supports Oyster-Adams by hosting events that foster community and build school spirit; keeping you up to date on school news and events; and raising funds for critical resources that help make our unique bilingual model successful. We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit group and donations are tax-deductible. Learn more about us.
You have a chance to join us in a more formal way. We have the following positions WIDE OPEN for you to jump in and help us for the upcoming 2025-2026 school year:

Member at Large (Volunteers): Rally the community to volunteer for events!
Member at Large (Budget): Assist with creating a budget, monitoring spending, and keeping us compliant with required paperwork.
