We would like to introduce an exciting new collaboration through the Spanish Embassy!
Please welcome Maria Dönges Almazor, the new Spanish Language and Culture Assistant at the Oyster campus this year. This program is fostered by the Ministry of Education and Vocational Training of Spain (represented locally by the Embassy of Spain). We are excited to work with Maria this school year! And a special thank you to the Ryans, the Oyster-Adams family who have kindly offered to host Maria during her stay in DC!
Sra. Berrocal, Assistant Principal of the Primary Campus, writes, “Thank you host family Carissa and Jason (and daughter Noelia, 2nd grade)! The Ryans joined us from Australia two years ago and have been wonderful members of our community since the first moment. Carissa walks with Noelia to school every day and you will find them always with a big smile. Thank you all very much for being part of this amazing opportunity.
