Oyster-Adams is participating in the Mattie Miracle Cancer Foundation‘s 9th Annual Candy Drive, which collects Halloween candy from the area and distributes it to local hospitals to help the families of kids with life-threatening illnesses.
Teach your kids about giving back to the community! And your kids are welcome to write/draw a short note to help cheer up the patients and their families (only sign with first names).
What to do:
Bring extra candy to the front office of either campus on:
- Friday Nov1st or
- Wednesday Nov 6th
- (and if necessary, the morning of Nov 7).

Campaña Anual de Dulces
Estamos muy emocionados de anunciar que Oyster estará participando en la 9ª Campaña Anual de Dulces del Mattie Miracle Cancer Foundation.
La campaña recoge dulces de Halloween del área de DC y los distribuyea los hospitales locales para ayudar a las familias de los niños conenfermedades de alto riesgo.
¡Es una gran oportunidad para enseñarles a sus hijos a servirle a la comunidad! Además, puede pedirle a su hijo/a que escriba o dibuje una nota para animar a los niños y las familias que reciben los dulces. (Por favor, sólo firmen con sus nombres.)
Estamos animando a las familias a traer los dulces que le sobren a la oficina principal el 1 y 6 de noviembre y, si es necesario, la mañana del 7 de noviembre.
