- Bus Registration. The Adams Campus will be renovated beginning in August 2023. Next year, all Oyster-Adams students in 4th through 8th grade will attend school at Meyer Elementary, located at 2501 11th Street NW. If your children need bus transportation next year, please fill out this transportation form. Buses will leave from the Oyster Building and near the Adams Campus.

- New Design. Last week, the DCPS Design Team presented a new design concept at a public Advisory Neighborhood Committee (ANC) meeting. Below is a screenshot from the livestream.
- This new concept builds a new entry pavilion next to the Hilton that is 2.5 stories high. It holds the library, a welcome center, and security. Students move through the library as they enter or exit the school. The gym is built on top of our existing soccer field and the current gym-auditorium becomes a cafeteria-auditorium. A soccer field is moved near the alley over the current parking lot. The track encircling the soccer field is eliminated. Two upright play structures (similar to those at Swampoodle Park) are installed. Twenty-two parking spaces are provided to teachers. Student enrollment is projected to reach 550 students.
- Principal’s Feedback. Principal Pineda has provided Adams modernization notes, encouraged members of the community to provide their feedback via this form, and post their questions.
- Registro de Autobuses. El plantel de Adams se renovará a partir de agosto de 2023. - Nuevo Diseño. La semana pasada, el equipo de diseño de DCPS presentó un nuevo concepto de diseño en una reunión pública del Comité Asesor Vecinal (ANC). Arriba hay una captura de pantalla de la transmisión en vivo.
- Este nuevo concepto construye un nuevo pabellón de entrada al lado del Hilton que tiene 2.5 pisos de altura. Tiene la biblioteca, un centro de bienvenida y seguridad. Los estudiantes se mueven por la biblioteca al entrar o salir de la escuela. El gimnasio se construye sobre nuestra cancha de fútbol existente y el gimnasio-auditorio actual se convierte en una cafetería-auditorio. Se mueve una cancha de fútbol cerca del callejón sobre el estacionamiento actual. Se elimina la pista que rodea el campo de fútbol. Se instalaron dos estructuras de juego verticales (similares a las de Swampoodle Park). Se proporcionan veintidós espacios de estacionamiento a los maestros. Se proyecta que la inscripción de estudiantes llegue a 550 estudiantes.
