We are excited to announce that we are hosting a ribbon cutting ceremony for the new playground at Oyster. For this special occasion, Mayor Bowser will be at the lower campus on Monday, October 31.

We would also like to thank everyone who made this happen. There is a special shout out to Stacia Cardielle, Jason Fink, and any other staff member or parent who also participated in this project. The truth is that our tigers enjoy the playground tremendously. 

We are also inviting all members of the community who would like to attend the event. The ceremony is scheduled to start around 10:30 a.m. and it will be on the soccer field (the rain plan is to move everything to the cafeteria). Since we are also doing the kindness walk simultaneously, the entrance will be through Calvert Street. 

Finally, some of our tigers will participate in the ceremony and details will be announced in grade level newsletters.

Nos complace anunciar que estamos organizando una ceremonia de inauguración para el nuevo parque de recreo en Oyster. Para esta ocasión especial, la alcaldesa Bowser estará en el campus de Oyster el lunes 31 de octubre. 

También nos gustaría agradecer a todo/as los que hicieron que esto sucediera. Hay un agradecimiento especial a Stacia Cardille, Jason Fink y cualquier otro/a miembro del personal o padre que también participó en este proyecto. La verdad es que nuestro/as tigres disfrutan tremendamente del patio de recreo.  

También estamos invitando a todos los miembros de la comunidad que deseen asistir al evento. La ceremonia está programada para comenzar alrededor de las 10:30 a.m. y será en el campo de fútbol (el plan de lluvia es trasladar todo a la cafetería). Como también estamos haciendo la caminata de amabilidad simultáneamente, la entrada será por Calvert Street. 

Finalmente, algunos de nuestros tigres participarán en la ceremonia y los detalles se anunciarán en boletines informativos de nivel de grado.
